Stephen Blackie, Executive Director - Bedford Village

Mr. Blackie ensures our Bedford Village Community in Sherwood Park effectively meets the needs of a mix of 200 Independent and Private Assisted Living residents by focusing on resident satisfaction and personal service

With an extensive history in the hospitality industry, Mr. Blackie utilizes his previous experience with multi-unit management, team leadership, training and program development to exceed resident expectations.

Demonstrating a commitment to individualized attention while seeking continuous improvement in operations Mr. Blackie strives to nurture an environment that advances residents overall quality of life.

Glen McGrath, Executive Director - Citadel Village

Mr. McGrath is the Executive Director for the urban village seniors’ community of Citadel Mews East and West, located in the vibrant city of St. Albert, Alberta.

Mr. McGrath has a passion for understanding evolving customer needs and developing effective teams who take pride in their commitment toward exceeding expectations and making a difference in the lives of seniors.  Whether it is assisting and educating future residents or putting family members at ease as they navigate the transitions of seniors living and support options, he builds relationships based on honesty, transparency, communication and trust. Resident centric and relentless in the pursuit of excellence through constant improvement.
 
Decades of director level luxury hotel and resort operations experience, both locally and abroad, combined with progressive seniors living director roles including not for profit seniors apartments, supportive lodge living, assisted living and clinical care are backed with current and on-going education and certification.  Mr. McGrath’s career path is well-balanced and perfectly matched to the upscale seniors living and support role and fundamental to his consistent success.

Cheryl Ann Grigg, Executive Director - Devonshire Village and Glastonbury Mews

Ms. Grigg is a multi-site Executive Director to our flagship community Devonshire Village in Southwest Edmonton, as well as Glastonbury Mews located in the Hamptons.

Armed with 9 years of home care experience and over a decade of varied hospitality experience, Ms. Grigg has found the perfect ‘marriage’ in upscale seniors living.  Passionate about seniors from childhood, she brings compassion, advocacy and experiential-based service to residents. 
 
Tremendously team-focused, she exhibits a hands-on approach to ensure the support, success and engagement of team members resulting in a true community atmosphere for all that visit or call Devonshire Village or Glastonbury Mews home.
